What Causes Swelling In Legs While On Wysolone?

hi doctor, I am a ckd patient take some medicines unde the prescription of a nephrologist. My creatine level is 7.0 but i have no problems about this level, hungry is well, all funtions asre very well, last month doctor prescribed wysolone 10 tab one for daily. After 20 days slight swelling is coming into my body especially in below part my two legs, any side effect of that tablet of any other reasons?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling in legs while on Wysolone. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gout , infection , venous insufficiency . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to side effects of wysolone . Wysolone is known to cause swelling as its side effects . I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribed this medicine and discuss the condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for other mention causes . For now lower your salt consumption , keep your legs elevated and do light exercises .
