What Causes Swelling In Lymph Nodes Of Neck With Pain Radiating To The Head?

Neck feels tight/swollen around lymph node/salivary glands. Affected areas are under my jaws, behind my ears. Sometimes pain radiates to the back of my neck and the top of my head. No symptoms in any other lymph node areas. Pressing on the glands temporarily relieves discomfort. I have been taking Tylenol and Advil but it really doesn't help much. I also recently started a course of clindamycin in the hopes that an underlying bacterial infection was causing the swelling. So far this has not helped, but I have only taken the antibiotics for 4 days. The symptoms have been ongoing for months with varying severity. I seem to have "flare-ups" that last about 3-5 days. During flare-ups, I may have a low-grade fever (between 99 and 100), sore throat, headache, and general fatigue. I am a 33 year old female.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if these are the lymph nodes and have some clinical symptoms like fever and pain or swelling then condition need to be investigated further for underlying causes and for this biopsy would be the gold test, the matter of concern would be tuberculosis, hope this helps take care and have a nice day.
