What Causes Swelling In The Abdomen After Taking Food?
My mom s abdomen way up high under her breasts is hard and swollen and painful Her doctor did not show any concern....every time she eats she has painful upper abdominal swelling and has little bowel movement unless she uses laxatives..should I take her to emergency?

I really appreciate your concern, if no clinical symptoms are there and just abdominal distention then this is nothing to worry, some time this could be due to flatulence, you can try "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day" if distention remains as it is then sonography can be done, take care and have a nice day.
