What Causes Swelling In The Ankles After Prostate Removal?

I m 68 years old. I had my prostate removed one year ago. Right after operation, I developed bad blood clots in right leg and both lungs. Was in ICU for a week. Everything seems ok. Yesterday, after driving for about 2 hours, I came home and took my shoes off. Right ankle very swollen. Never happened before. Swelling has gone down, but still some. I get a little nervous because of the clot issue I had. Is there a connection?

Sudden appearance of ankle swelling after driving and taking shoes off does not narrate grave issue, it might be compression of the local part or other issue.
