What Causes Swelling In The Ankles After Suffering From A Concussion?

I was in a car accident last Tuesday. The other driver damaged the passenger side front end of my car. I went to the hospital via ambulance. I believe I suffered a concussion. Today (seven days later) I have new symptoms: my ankles and feet are very swollen and I can barely bend my toes. I also have a umbilical hernia that seems to have grown since the accident. Are these symptoms something to worry about?

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This should not be related to brain concussion but you may have injured your ankles during the exercise and you should do xray to rule out fracture. also, apply ice, take painkillers, keep legs elevated and rest.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
