What Causes Swelling In The Armpit While Treating Hashimoto S Thyroiditis?

Hi I was Diagnosed with Hoshimoto s Thyroiditis back in the first part of Jan 2011, I am currently not on any medication s as my THS levels were still in normal range. However iv noticed some swelling under my arm pit area and it is a bit painfull. I am so tired of not feeling like me im almost 27 and I find it hard to just get out of bed each day. I am wondering if this swelling soreness in my right armpit has to do with Hoshimoto s.

Hello I just read your query and from what you have mentioned it appears that you have an axillary lymph node or an axillary abscess and both these conditions are totally unrelated to your Thyroid disease.
I would suggest that you have an examination of your axillary region by a doctor close to you.
Hope you find my advice of some benefit.Good luck.
