What Causes Swelling In The Arms And Legs?
My boyfriend has stage 4 colon cancer and has had about 12 treatments of chemo .. they told him he needed a break because his labs were really bad ... he received chemo every 2 weeks it s been almost a month without chemo and these last few days his arms , thighs, legs and ankles are very swollen .. he went to the er they did X-rays of abdomen and Chest but no one to read them he has to wait 5 days to see the dr to see what is wrong ... what could be causing this?

. dear many causes for swelling of legs and arms.
may be due to liver metastasis with hypoproteinemia,anemia.lymphatic edema,Aditi's with liver cells failure, heart failure,renal shutdown due to hyperurisemia etc.. please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
