What Causes Swelling In The Face After Taking Amoxicillin?

I went to Dr yesterday and was diagnoised with severe sinus infection. He prescribed me with 500MG amoxicillin. The left side of my face is swollen pretty bad. Is there anything i can do to bring the swelling down? It also hurts pretty bad. Help!!!!

Hi,

As per your history, it seems to be you are having an acute sinus infection.

For that, you need to take antibiotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication like tab Augmentin and Aceclofenac.

You can also avoid leaning forward too much to reduce the symptoms of a headache too.
