What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Legs Along With Weight Gain?

I am trying to find an answer to what may be wrong with me. I have been going to the dr for 3 years now and doing blood work and all they can find out is that my levels are elevated. My feet and legs get swollen. It currently looks like my ankle has been swallowed whole. I am tired constantly and I gain weight for no reason. I barely eat throughout the day and still gain. I for the last year have been taking 500 mg of metformin because my dr thinks I have PCOS but the symptoms did not go away.

Hi, i had gone through your question.. understood your concerns, i would come up with these possibilities.. if the swelling of your legs are non pitting, then it would be reduced thyroid function and which causes weight gain and edema of lower extremities and easy fatigability.. you need to check the thyroid function if the levels of thyroid stimulating hormone is raised and changes in t3 and t4 levels, then thyroid harmone supplementations can be given.. this can be treated with the medication
