Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Minoxidil usage can lead to swelling. Because its main action is vasodilation and category wise its anti hypertensive medication. It has a side effect of increasing hair growth, which we take advantage and use in alopecia but with caution. So take opinion of dermatologist for other modalities.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
