What Causes Swelling In The Foot With Burning And Tingling Sensation?

Dropped a 2lb plaster (kids artwork) from a 5 ft drop on the top of my arch a week ago. Caused a cut but no real bleeding. I can walk on it however I do notice that when I don t wear shoes it is more uncomfortable and causes more discomfort later when relaxing. Cannot wear anything at all across the arch. Very tender to the touch. My concern is the swelling across the top and along the outer side of the foot is still very apparent a week later and I have random burning and tingling sensations in bottom of arch and different places on top. Is this caused by the swelling? Since I can walk on it does that mean I most likely haven t broken anything?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
go to the clinic this can be due to broken bones and also some of the blood vessels are in compression that's why you are feeling tingling and burning sensation also try elevation of the part of the body where you are feeling the sensation also stop wearing tight clothes but if compression of the blood vessel is present then it should be relaxed as early as possible.
