What Causes Swelling In The Groin Area On The Left Side?
Male 73 experiencing swelling in the groin area left side; feels like burning and painful to bend over and etc. Has come and gone in the last two weeks and usually last for over an hour before subsiding. It is not painful to urinate. YYYY@YYYY
The most common reason for recurrent swelling of the groin is a hernia in the area.
Hernias can also be painful and would not affect urination.
Treatment depends on the size , the impact of the urination and the presence of any complications. In some persons monitoring is enough, others would require surgical repair
I hope this helps
