What Causes Swelling In The Hands And Fingers?

we got to a lot of tractor shows and swap meets...after walking or standing around for a few hours my hands and fingers will swell so much I cant bend my fingers very much. It has happened twice this year so far. Usually happens when its really hot outside..dont know if that is part of it or not. I am 62 and male

Hi,

Swelling of the fingers and hand that you are experiencing can be due to infection(insect bite), spondyloarthritis, STI (syphilis), TB or sickle cell disease.

For relief you can take Acetaminophen. Visit ER, get yourself physically examined, get al investigations done, get treated.
