What Causes Swelling In The Heels While Suffering From Severe Neuropathy?

I have pretty severe neuropathy from back problems and chemo has made it worse in last year, but I was on my feet all day Friday and now I cannot put weight on my left foot. Swelling on inner arch and heel. What did I do and what can I do for my painful fewer

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to rest the foot, this means that you should not put any or very little pressure on it for a few days at least.

Elevation and a compression bandage would also help reduce the swelling and pain.

If you can use anti inflammatory pain medication, this would also be helpful eg ibuprofen or naproxen
