What Causes Swelling In The Hips While Suffering From Transverse Myelitis?
Hi I m transverse mylitis patient and treated with plasma phersis and IVIG but still no improvement I have lost sensation from belly button to toes as well as lose bladder and bowl control it is about 12week of my illness now I have found bed sore on hips and swelling on my right feet why it swelled and guide me about precautions for bed sore thanx a lot I m 32years single make

Guidelines at present
- use water bed for slipping ( if not using )
- frequent assisted postural changes
- sterile dressing over bed sore
- culture specific antibiotics for healing of bed sore infection
- control of blood sugar
