What Causes Swelling In The Knee After Meniscus Repair?

I had my knee operated on 14 months ago for a torn meniscus. Recovery went fine and I was quickly back to normal activity. Last week my same knee swelled up and I lack flexibility. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred that would cause the swelling. I m looking for answers.

Hello,
You really need an exam to get a good answer to this question. You could have had a tendon or ligament strain or something else could have happened to your meniscus. Sometimes knee swelling is caused by infection so if the knee is red, hot, painful and swollen then you should see a doctor right away for exam and treatment.
