What Causes Swelling In The Knees After Receiving Orthovisc Injection?

I had an orthovisc injection on Friday. My knee is now swollen, I have hives, it is red and hot. I emailed the dr. but he is now out of the office. This seems to be a severe rxn. The knee became swollen hives, rash, heat yesteday. Cortizone, ice and claritan have had no effect. I think I can wait until tomorrow to talk to him correct?

You can go to ER for Epinephrine injection because it seems severe allergic reaction.
