General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it's better to get arterial and venous system Doppler and rule out DVT.

Other causes of dependent oedema should also be ruled out with baseline investigations like kidney function tests and complete blood count.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
