What Causes Swelling In The Leg?

one leg from foot to thigh has been extremely swollen for the last few days. It goes down overnight, but not completely back to normal, Not related to summer heat. I have Ulcerative colitis and have had reactions to several medications including , currently, drug-induced lupus from infliximab. I started on vedolizumab infusions a month ago but swelling was not an issue until about 4 days ago

all the condition will be bilateral. in your case it can be a local cause like varicose vein thrombophlebitis or injury it requeirelocal examination and diagnosis so that treatment can be recomanded. till diagnosis the leg can be raised by pillow at bed time.
