What Causes Swelling In The Legs When Diagnosed With Liver Cirrhosis?
Miy husband is 78 years old and has NEVER had a drop of alcohol, He was recently diagnosed with cirrohsis of the liver. Was hospitalized for 4 days. 6 Yrs ago he had 5 bypass heart surgery. Feet and legs are terribly swollen. Lower part of his legs are big and very hard. We wonder what should be done other than lasix. We are also wondering should we consult with a liver specialist or stay with the regular MD?
