I am overweight eighty yr old legs very swollen,have diabetes and feel like I am filling up with water went to primary Take lasiks can t get in to see heart dr for two weeks am starting to breathe heavier try to stay in bed it helps some but can urinate very little even when Ihave urge

Here for your edema of leg following causes has to be ruled out.....
-heart problem like CHF
-kidney problem
-hypoproteinemia
-liver disorders

You are having decrease urine out and diabetes also present, hence diabetic nephropathy seems most likely causative factor...

According to cause further specific treatment given

Investigation needed with....
-EKG
-Serum protein level
-Serum creatinine, urea
-SGPT, SGOT etc...
