What Causes Swelling In The Legs While Having Stage 3 Kidney Disease?
I have hypertension plus diabetes; bad chlorestoral is not good; last visit to my doctor, she stated I have stage three kidney disease. I am experiencing swollen legs for about two months, my BP has been elevated more than usual. I have an ache in my right side, towards my back, but sometimes I feel an ache below my ribcage, on the right side. I am not certain if I should wait till my next appt. with my kidney doctor (early August), or go to urgent care.

It could be due to chronic kidney disease. Consult a nephrologist and get evaluated. A kidney function test is required. Low dose diuretics may be helpful.
