General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sudden numbness and swelling of lips is usually due to an allergic condition called angioneurotic edema. The exact cause of this phenomenon is not known hence the treatment is symptomatic in the form of antihistamine and steroids; additional de-wormin, Hetrazan is given by some Doctors on empirical basis.
The similar edema anywhere in the respiratory tract can cause breathless and the treatment remains the same.
Once the problem is settled it is better to give samples of blood for tests and an opinion of an Allergy Specialist can guide you for further tests and any additional management as needed.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
