What Causes Swelling In The Lower Back?
Hi I have a swollen area in the middle of my very lower back. It s right between my back dimples. I just noticed it a few days ago. It doesn t hurt or anything just seems to be odd because I don t have any bruising and I didn t strain it. Can you help?

Could be inflammation of the vertebral bones in the back or any tumoral mass of the skin.
Start with a simple physical examination by your family doctor. Then depending on findings ask to get directed further to orthopedic doctor or dermatologist for further evaluation and appropriate treatment.
