What Causes Swelling In The Lower Leg After Surgical Abortion?

Hi! I had a surgical abortion3 days ago and ever since I have experienced intermittent lower leg swelling. They get really hard and look huge. I also have increased my water intake to 8-10 glasses a day. Is this normal? I actually started eating much better since then

Hi, I think you should check your hemoglobin level, liver function test and a thyroid profile. It can be due to anemia, hypoproteinemia or may be some thyroid disorders. Take some iron and protein supplements. Also get your blood pressure checked. Elevate your limbs while lying down. Don't sit with hanging legs for long.
