What Causes Swelling In The Lower Legs?

HI I am 55 yr old female. Been experiencing lower legs and figure swelling, mostly left foot. My doctor just took me off Ampliodine but it s been 7 days and still have the swelling. I did experience a bad kidney stone episode on left side 6 months ago.
