What Causes Swelling In The Tonsils?
my mum has had a feeling of something hanging at the top of mouth for 4 weeks has seen 4 gps and been to a and e gps say cattaguar a and e said her tonsils were swollen makeing appointment within next 2 eeks worried about her she is a insilin dependent diabetic , she saying some times she can hardly swallow she has it in her head its serious , no pain or anything she just says its were no one can see it

Tonsils located on the sides in the pharynx. The feeling of something hanging down the throat can be due to post nasal drip. Please send me the picture of your throat so that I can suggest you better. Also, tell me do you have any nasal congestion or blockage?
