What Causes Swelling In The Upper Eyelid For The Past One Week?

hi all,
my left upper eyelid is swollen from past one week. There is no pain or itiching. At first i was warm water treatment to it and there is no result. now i am giving ice to it. but there is no result in this too. can any one suggest.. it looks odd.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having swelling of the eyelid.
Since pain and redness are absent this can be chronic swelling involving the glands of the eyelids like chalazion.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and warm compress initially and in later stages it may require incision and curettage.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
