What Causes Swelling In Throat, Severe Headache And Numbness Of Mouth?
I drank about 20 ounces of whiskey on Sunday and smoked many cigarettes. Monday morning I had a terrible cough for about 2 solid hours. Later that afternoon the roof of my mouth, (not throat) starting hurting real bad. For the next 3 days, I had severe constant headaches, and the pain in my throat moved down toward my throat. I noticed swelling in my throat. Hard to eat. Now today, my mouth is more numb than painful, and the headaches have gotten better. Did I have some kind of severe infection. Never had a fever. Took 12 aspirin a day, thats it.
