Hi Dear ,
Welcome to Health Care Magic Team.
Understanding your concern.
The symptoms you mention in your query are pointing towards a chronic
ear infection which led to
tonsillitis .Because throat and ear are connected to each other by a pair of small tubes called Eustachian tubes .So infection of one can lead to infection to other .
The treatment will depend upon the cause .Ear infection can be because of blockage of Eustachian tube due to various reason like allergy ,cold ,
sinusitis and excess mucus production .Infection can be due to both bacteria and virus .
If the infection is due to virus or mild it will go away by its own in few days ,but thats not the case with you.You probably have bacterial infection .Confirmation can be done by throat swab test or by taking fluid from ear.
I would suggest you to take
oral antibiotics at least for week ,you can also use some antimicrobial ear drops, use warm compresses on ear ,do warm saline gargles and
mucolytic agent like
ambroxol can be taken.
If condition persists for more then a week you should immediately
consult ENT specialist (ear, nose, throat),who can diagnose properly and can also perform ear tube procedure .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
