What Causes Swelling In Upper Part Of Hymen After Intercourse?
I have been to my gynecologist and have found out that the upper part of my hymen swells after intercourse. She had no solution other than using extra lubrication. I have been with my boyfriend for over a year now and this is a new occurrence. I wanted to know if there are any other explanations as to why my hymen swells or what else I can do to fix it.

Friction could be the most obvious cause, that's why you doctor advised extra lubrication.
Infection could be second one. If you apply some natural anti inflammatory, it will come down without drugs. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp in a cup of water may be applied by soaking swab. Twice or thrice day. It doesn't harm and is safe. Even with clarified butter and Turmeric powder mixed, it can be achieved. No harm if Intercourse is done while this is applied.
