What Causes Swelling, Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Legs?

I am having swelling of the leg, foot and ankle. It started with tingling in the foot and numbness in the left leg and foot. Once in a while shooting pains, very brief. Overnight the swelling goes down. Sometimes it is there during the day, sometimes not. I have had tests for diabetes, but the doctor says there is no evidence. His diagnoses is peripheral neuropathy, but the swelling is a problem.

Tingling and numbness with shooting pain can be due to vitamin deficiency as your doctor said. You can go for blood test to isolate the cause. You can take combiflam or zerodol-sp for severe pain along with meganeuron-od plus once daily. Take some calcium supplements also like toscal-gem or shalcal.
