What Causes Swelling Of Bead Like On Left Jaw Line?

I have a ten year old daughter who has just begun complaining of a small "bead - like" swollen area below mandible on left jaw line. It is not where I would typically see and feel "swollen lymph nodes". We plan to watch it. it is sore to touch but sore even without palpation.
