What Causes Swelling Of Ears?

I have a very bad headache , my glands under my ear and on the back of my neck left side are swollen and painful. Also am very nauseous. My ears ring and are seeming like They are stopped up. My throat does not hurt. This has been going on for 4 days. Can't seeu doc until Tuesday next week. Please help! Amy.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having acute otitis media giving rise all these symptoms.
You might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Consult your doctor as soon as possible for proper treatment otherwise there might be having perforation in drum leading to pus drainage.
