My daughter woke up with her face swollen on one side her lip is slightly dropping and numb. She has what looks like a big bite near her lip and also above her eye. Any ideas? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to an infection or an allergic reaction. I suggest to use Claritin to treat the infection. I also recommend to use antihistamines such as Cetirizine daily to relieve the swelling. Cortisone shots can also be helpful, they are prescription medications, so you should consult your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
