What Causes Swelling Of Face & Eye?

Hi, one side of my face between my eye and nose is swollen for a long time now. I went to see the doctor, also a surgeon and they tell me they have no idea!! I don t know where to turn. Also now when I smile there is like a vein, or a fat line going down my eye on one side. I ve had this for a while but now it s so noticeable and I feel terrible I don t even want to smile !!! Any idea would help me a lot ! Thank you so much! Patricia

For your problem to have proper diagnosis local examination by eye doctor is required. What you mean may be pinguicula or pterigium. Cingular requires excision. Pterigium if grows towards cornea and reach pupilary area obstructing vision then requires excision. Every thing depends on final diagnosis by eye doctor. .
