What Causes Swelling Of Fingers And Bloating During Water Pill Intake?

I had the full lypo-hysterectomy in Sept. 2010. My hands are swollen; most of the time, I can't get my rings off. My stomach area is bloated and my thighs are swollen most of the time. I was on a water pill, my doctor recently increased it to a higher dosage. Do you have any answers for this?
