my 12 year old is c/o swollen left testicle, it "feels tight" to him. Upon examination, it is about 2 times larger and firm, the skin is more wrinkled. he had this last week for a few days and disappeared. back again. not running a fever. no urinating problems
Hi, It could be a hernia or a hydrocele. I suggest you see a Surgeon who can examine your Son. He will be able to tell you what it is and whether he requires any investigations and then the treatment plan. If it is a hernia or a hydrocele then he might require Surgery. The earlier you get it dealt with the better. All the best and do not worry. They are all treatable conditions. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
