What Causes Swelling Of Penis Veins
Hi, a vein in the shaft of my penis turned purple, swollen and very painful after 3G intercourse over new years eve. Is this a burst blood vessel that will heal by itself or should I seek medical attention? It has low/moderate stinging and constant pain. Thanks!

Thanks for query .The swollen and painful vein on shaft of the penis is mostly a inflamed (Thrombophlebitis) superficial branch of dorsal vein of penis caused by dry ,vigorous and rough repeated sex over a short period of time .
You need to take antibiotics and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily with topical anti thrombotic ointment like Thrombophob for local application .
Avoid sexual encounters till it gets cured completely .
