What Causes Swelling Of Pierced Ear?

hey my name is wivine and about two/three month ago i pierced my own ear in the middle. I used to take it off once in a while for cleaning but i stop..one of my earring came off my ears, ripping it but the other one happens to be stuck. it is so swollen and i have tried to take it off but the back of my ears are swollen. it has been disturbing and the pain is starting to give me a headache. These are pearls if I may add, and i don't know what to do because they won't come off and my ears are extremely swollen

hello, thanks for ur query, ear piercing infection can lead to cartilage infection( perchonritis). in those cases u may need I.v antibiotics and local application , of course after repairing ur ear piercing studs. visit an ent surgeon. all d best. take care.
