General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

A dry throat is often a sign of a head cold, dehydration, or sleeping with your mouth open, especially during winter.
I suggest as home treatments, drinking warm liquids, such as broth or hot tea, and sucking on throat lozenges.
I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation.
A throat spray can also be helpful.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
