What Causes Swelling Of Veins And Pain In Legs?

im 32 ,5ft 2, 10 stone mother of 4. im in good health and fit. however the vein running down my leg and acroos my foot , swells really really big leaving my foot feeling like my blood is turning to acid and it also aches real bad.if i raise my leg this helps and vein goes down. if i even slightly knock it ,my leg, its agony ,vein swells then huge bruising occours.Today i have pins in needles also aches and feels limited in movement.

Hello, from what you are telling me it seems like you have got varicose veins. It occurs in people who do long standing jobs and thus the veins in legs swell up with long course. You might need to show to your general surgeon or vascular surgeon for proper examination and treatment. Meanwhile you can put compression bandage stockings for your appropriate size on both legs whenever you go out or have to work standing. It will help to compress the veins and keep the pain reduced.
