What Causes Swelling On Collar Bone, Purplish Discoloration And Soreness?

Hi my 11 year old daughter has had a swelling over her collar bone that looks like a burst vein.it is a raised purplish mark which is sore to touch, it is about an inche wide. i have been back and forth to the children s hospital she has had blood tests,an ultra sound scan,scans and is currently waiting for a mri test.the ultra sound scan showed it wad not attached to the bone. what could it possibly be?

Bluish discolouration with swelling generally indicated towards an injury but it is not that then you have to wait for sonography reports.
