What Causes Swelling On Forehead And Bridge Of Nose?

Hello,I m on holiday in Greece with my wife. Yesterday she woke and had a large swelling on her forehead. Today it is still on her forehead but has also gone onto the bridge of her nose and the top of her eyes. What is it and what can be done to help. Is it sunburn?

Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Sun burn will not cause such kind of swelling. It may be due to some insect bite. Applying ice over the swelling may help.

If she has other symptoms like pain, redness of swelling then it is better to consult a doctor.

I hope this helps. If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
