What Causes Swelling On Hands Along With Vomiting And Vertigo?

During night at approx 1 am my mom went to washroom and call me . When I reach there I observe her hands has some sort of swelling when I go close she just faint in my arms her face was also very big that time and she start vomiting and sweating. After 5 minute she gained her conciousness back . next day I consult Dr they say itz coz of vertigo or gas problem. Still after 2 days of medication she feel dizzy in the morning. Please tell me how to help my mom?

it may beangioneurotic oedema. vertigo can be one reason for the symptoms. ear examination for conduction deafness and nerve deafness to be tested. tympanic membraine tobe tested for perforation. vertin tablet can be startedand observe for vertigo. she should undergo test for general checkup. complete hemogram may be done. dibetes and hypertension be excluded.
