General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be post traumatic synovitis. It is better to rule out this by consulting an orthopedician. X ray of knee joint should be taken to rule out any injury also. In case of excessive fluid accumulation aspiration will be required. Immobilization of knee with brace will be required for some days. NSAIDs like ketoprofen will be helpful to relieve pain and inflammation.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
