General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bartholinitis. If you send a close picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. Hot fomentation will be helpful to relieve swelling and pain. If swelling ,redness and pain is increasing then it can be due to abscess or collection of puss and in such case incision and drainage is advised. You can approach your GP for this. Betadine ointment for local application will be helpful also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
