What Causes Swelling On The Left Side Of The Knees?

My husband has a 3 inch goose egg swelling on his right side of knee and large swelling on his left side of knee. He also has a jellybean size water blister on his inside of knee He has had no injury to this knee. He is in a lot of pain and can barley walk with the help of a walker? Any ideas

I have gone through your query and here is my advice. It may be due to blunt trauma.

For further assessment you may require MRI knee after orthopedician consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require aspiration after orthopedician consultation.

Use knee cap. Avoid strenuous activity.
