What Causes Swelling On The Right Foot After A Lower Back Surgery?
wife had lower back surgery on Mar 30th & all went well. Then at 3:30 am on April 8th went to ER, as had significant blood in BM. In hospital, not allowed to walk, but could occasionally sit on edge of bed. Lower GI attributed bleeding to mild to moderate sigmoid and descending colon ischemic colitis. Came home from hospital 7pm April 11th. Sat (with feet up in recliner) or rested in bed most of today. Tonight 11:45pm right foot, as compared to left foot, is Swollen, red in color and quite hot to the touch.
