What Causes Swelling On The Upper Part Of Testicles?

Hello Sir,
I suddenly noticed a visible swelling on upper part of my left testicle.The swelling is big around one fourth size of testicle and appears as hard rod like mass. Also when touched it seems to move around in scortum. It seems to be attached to the upper part of the left testicle. The swelling increases and decreases by breathing. I am getting mild ache or discomfirt in that area not necessary just at site of swelling but also little above around waist.....I noticed it jsut 2-3 days before, Can you please tell what it is?
